2.0.0 is live. It's a ground-up rewrite, not an update.
v1 imported a .companionconfig file and fired button presses over Companion's legacy TCP command API. v2 registers with Companion as a surface and runs on the Satellite protocol, so the phone reflects live button state instead of a stale snapshot of a config file.
What ships:
- Live button state — bitmaps, labels, and page changes pushed from Companion as they happen.
- Encoder rotation — twist gestures send rotary events back.
- Custom dashboards (Full version) — build a surface that pulls buttons from multiple Companion pages.
- Multi-surface on iPad (Full version) — open a second surface in a side-by-side split.
- Multiple connections (Full version) — save multiple rigs and switch between them on the fly.
- LAN-only — no accounts, no cloud, no relay.
Companion 4.2+ required. iOS / iPadOS 18 or later.
Update in the App Store.
