2.5.0 is a polish release. No new Pro feature; everything from 2.4 is still here. What changed is the rail, Settings, and how the app asks for a rating.
- The rail is full height again. The connection rail had gotten noticeably thin. It's a full-height row now, keeps the slimmer height only in iPhone landscape where the space is tight, and no longer vanishes while the Settings sheet is open.
- Settings is reorganized. Connections, Dashboards, Operator Roles, and Quick Buttons sit together in one block at the top instead of four one-row sections. The Privacy Policy link moved into About.
- Connections sort alphabetically. Everywhere: the switcher, Settings, and every picker. The order no longer shuffles when you switch between Companions.
- DeckHand is one tap away. The "How pairing works" walkthrough links straight to DeckHand on the App Store at the operator step.
- The rating popup is gone. "Enjoying CyberDeck?" is retired. CyberDeck now uses Apple's own rating card, at most once a year, and only after real use: a week of connected days, or the day after buying Pro. Never over another sheet, never over a PIN pad, never twice in one session. If you'd rather rate on your own schedule, Rate CyberDeck under Support in Settings opens the App Store review page.
- Three layout fixes. All three were already in 2.4.0; the new Settings block and the taller rail made them easier to see. The Quick Buttons count, and the free tier's lock glyphs, stay on the right in iPhone portrait instead of wrapping under the caption. The PIN pad drops to its compact layout when an iPad window is too short for the full-size one, so the rail stays visible and all ten keys are reachable. "Connecting…" stays on one line when the address is long; the address is what shortens.
Known and deferred. The dashboard and Quick Button editors show an empty grid, with no hint, while the surface is PIN-locked. At the largest accessibility text sizes the rail's status word truncates in iPhone portrait. Both are on the list for a later build.
No update sheet this time. The one-time "What's new" summary only fires when a release adds a Pro feature, and this one adds none. Coming from 2.3, you'll see the 2.4.0 one for Quick Buttons.
No DeckHand update this time. The pairing wire is untouched, so DeckHand 1.0 keeps working as is.
